Your photos make me ache to go back to your country. I have been there twice, have driven through Glen Coe and other beautiful spots, but I have always had the misfortune of doing so in a rented piece of terrible French car!

    Hi Matt,
Just wondering whether you've had a chance to get out on the road yet this spring? Work does get in the way though, doesn't it?

    Hello chaps.

No I haven't been out at all. Aside from having shitey weather, I need a new back tyre. Sadly my car gets priority and it needs £430 of work to get through its MOT so I'm feckin skint and can't afford to do both at the moment.

On a more positive note, I've been accepted to do an HND in photography in Glasgow so I'm looking forward to that. This probably means that RRs will be a bit think on the ground for the next couple of years as I'll be working when I'm not studying. It should mean that my photos will be of a higher quality though and hopefully open some doors that mean I have more time to myself in the future.

Anyway here's a few photos from recent day trips:

I actually have no idea what it's called. It's not Glen Fruin though. The picture was taken on the A9, about here.

Crikey Matt, those snaps are tops! Maybe you should be teaching that class! Being skint myself at the moment I know exactly wherein you speak, but know that there's an appreciative audience for any future reports you post! I would wish you good luck on the course but with the ability you already have you can't miss.

So with college less than a month away, photography has taken over. It's more or less all I do when I'm not doing something else. And I still don't have my bike on the road.

We've had some bloody lovely weather of late though so I'm envious of those I see out.

I do have a few photos to share however so I'll get on with that.

This is from a local farmer's field. There is a 'wild' bit off to the side of the field that I normally go to to practice wildlife photography. However in the summer it's impenetrable which puts an end to that for the time being. As I was looking for a way in, I noticed this fella munching away at the long grass behind me.

I found out about a piece of art called 'Still' by a fella called Rob Mulholland. It's at the western end of Loch Earn. He had a temporary piece last year which was so successful in attracting tourists to the area that the hotel commissioned this permanent installation. At 4am it's kinda creepy.

100 yards up the road there was morning mist on the water.

On the way back from that, I noticed a glen full of mist. Luckily for me a local building had recently been knocked down so I could wander onto the waste site to get the angle I wanted.

Yesterday was spent in Glen Coe. It was incredibly hot (for Scotland) and all the clambering over rocks by the river wasn't helping. Had there not been people about I would have been tempted by an au natural dip in the water.

I was there a bit later than I would be normally so the sun was starting its descent when I decided to leave. Which meant it was in a great place as I wandered up a wee path to take this.

I haven't seen this thread in a long time. Anyways, many new pics. Thanks for bringing me along. It is 4:00am, and that creepy water thing is pretty cool looking at it 4am in the middle of the US, SE Missouri. Thanks. Yea, that was a Yank Tank, I love the RV photo; but I'm a Southerner not a Yank!:clap Nice report.
