Sorry Andy, the limitations of humour and written at that.
I was being cheeky back (as a Fifer) for your opening remarks on Fifers.

Nothing serious, just poor banter. Have a good 2013!!:thumb

Dont know if anyone's interested but myself and 3 others are riding from Scotland to Morrocco in May(last week in May and first week in June, toatal of 15 days), we've planned on doing this with as little faffing about as possible, taking only the minimum of kit required to do this. We will be riding from here to Portsmouth and to St Malo via the ferry on or around the 27th of May, from there its a 3 day camp and ride to Algeciras to catch the next ferry to Tangier. We have a mate who lives in Chefchouan(roughly 3 hours from Tangier) who we will be staying with for a day or two to allow maintanance and to relax a bit.
After that we plan on a ride down to Marrachech and down to the Toubekal area(just touching the northen Sahara) before turning back to Chefchouan and a final night in Morrocco, we will be heading back to Tangier and the return trip back through Spain and France and the ferry at St Malo.
Most of us have been to Morrocco multiple times so we are NOT new to traveling there and what it intails, this is going to be a hard riding holiday and not for anyone that wants to stop and sightsee every village alond the way, if however you read this and think you might like to try it then abdae's welcome.:norton

Hi Scottisch riders,

I'm not scottisch but i lost last year on a trip through beautiful Scotland a BMW pannier. we reported the police in Ullapool but they never found it again. So maybe you guys can have a look along the roads.

Details: lost in may 2012 on the road from Dornie (Eilean Donan Castle) to Ullapool over the 890, 832, 835.
It is a black plastic motorbike pannier, brand BMW, type Touring. right side. It has some stickers from Slovenia (SLO), Croatia (HR), Denmark, Austia (A) on it.
The content of the pannier is: 2 pans, camping spoon set, first aid kit, orange-black raincoat with "moto adventure chile" sticker, insulation jacket from Rukka motorbike jacket and motorbike thermal underwear. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

THANKS
