Here are some pics of mine. I had them use red stitching to go with the bike. By far the best $170 I've spent on my bike.

Bundy, Do you make a new cover for the rear seat of the R1200GS Adventure also. I'm guessing no, because I don't see any buy info, though the GS Tall version appears to have a similar material rear seat in the photo, so I thought I'd ask.

Also just out of curiosity, when you remove the stock cover and foam, is it shot, or could you in theory reinstall it if you had to?

The stock cover and foam come off pretty easily, they are not glued on. I still have mine on the shelf. If you are careful when pulling the staples the cover will go right back on as well.

Last year I purchased a F800gs Tall seat, and now it have start to "compress" at the front (after about 20.000km) - meaning from the point where it normally slopes (for the normal hight) it start doing the same.

    Is that normal ?

Otherwise the price/quality is as it should be.

Also have anyone tried the Suede option for the Tall F800gs seat yet ?

    Btw. is Suede watertight ?

I got a box in the mail today. Nice! I'm going to Utah in a week and a half for some lazy solo riding, so I thought I deserve a comfier seat. Thanks Bundy.

    Marko,

Did you put a new seat on the L? What options did you get? I did not see a tall option for the Ls how is the stock seat height? You know us normal sized guys gotta have room for the boys. :lol3 Did they have big boy foam, cuz I know you weigh a touch more than 250. :eek1

:clap :clap I was lucky enough to score a free SC seat at DV n00bs and I want the L to really pop! :clap :clap

Bundy, I am reading the thread to figure out what options I would like before I call you guys. I know that I want the gripper top to keep my butt in place. Debating on Honda red sides or carbon fiber sides.

Thank you guys for your donation the DV n00bs! 200 plus folks and a bunch of them n00bs. Hopefully we are starting the next generation off a good foot!

I just wanted to share my experience with my Seat Concepts seat. First let me say that the service I received from MX Bundy was top notch. He responded to all of my questions (even the silly ones) quickly and professionally. I received my seat kit the same week that my order was placed which was awesome because I was able to install it on a Friday night and do a nice long ride the very next day. The install was fairly simple and took about an hour start to finish. I was skeptical after the initial ride and came away thinking "Eh, it's okay." Let me just tell you that after break in I realized how wrong my initial impression was. This seat rocks!! I can literally ride sun up to sun down for several days in a row without any pain or fatigue caused by the seat. Something I could never do with the stock seat or any number of seat covers that I had tried. Thank you Seat Concepts for literally saving my ass!! :clap

Here are a couple of pics form a recent ride from my home near Miami FL to Croom in Brooksville FL. I left home at about 5:30 a.m. and arrived at the park around 3 p.m. where I unloaded my gear. I then spent the next four hours riding single track. I can now ride this bike all damn day, hit the sack, wake up and do it all over again without any issues.

Now for a question to MX Bundy:

Would you be able to do a one off seat for my project bike ? :ear

Just what I needed for my Tenere. Thanks Guys!

Only one ride so far, about 400 miles, but I don't do much more than that on a regular basis. I wanted to flatten out my Tenere seat and get ride of the forward slope...but I didn't want to lose the grip material of the stock seat. I also didn't want to go with a firmer foam, the "you need support" theory has never worked for me and just feels like a hard seat.

After a helpful phone call to Seat Concepts I ordered my seat with .5 softer foam and gripper cover. Cover is almost identical to stock, and matches the rear. The foam feels maybe slightly softer than stock, just perfect.

Jim, was gonna respond when I got some firm info from our seat cover vendor, when that info was not forth coming I simply forgot. So sorry.,
But to answer your question, the mold is done and a new foam and pan has been sent to have the pattern made.. However he has about 10 new models of our over there at present so I do not still have a release date on the low 1200GS seat.

    Hey Bundy,

I have your seats on my CRF230F and CRF250L. I really like them. It's a shame the Versys seat I tried didn't work out for me, but, these two seats are great.

    Thanks!
