Has anyone had success swapping the high density foam for heavier folks with a soft foam for normal folks? I contacted SeatConcepts and they quickly responded they'd send me a softer foam if I send mine back plus add 15.00 to ship the new foam. I'm hoping to hear from someone who did this and found the results they desired. I'm just hesitant to drop 30.00 more and still be unhappy with the seat. Then i'd be in the hole 190.00 instead of the current 160.00. So hopefully someone has made the swap cuz I'm hesitant to spend even more... I guess all our asses react differently but mine is not liking the current set up lol.

I will say SeatConcepts has been very good about quick responses, fast shipping, and the quality appears to be top notch!! Now if I could just find some comfort on the thing!

Bought a Seat Concepts seat for my KTM 950 SM after not having any luck with a high dollar, big name after market seat was almost crippling. The SC seat was the solution to a motorcycle that I love but that had a seat that was unbearable . The SC was half the price of my first aftermarket seat, got it in a few days.

I love mine. Did a 12 hour day on it two weekends back and my butt never gave up. Longest day on the stocker was maybe 7-8 and it wasn't comfortable at all.

Call them if email doesn't work. Shipping for my 3 seats has been super fast.
Loved them on my two KTMs and this S10 seat is no different.

Will this staple gun work? I already have it and SS staples. But concerned with the 1/4" width

I used a plain old manual stapler from Home Depot with no issues. The few staples that didn't fully penetrate I tapped in with a small hammer.

The 1/4 width wont be a deal breaker, but you only want the staples no longer than 3/8 in length.

Met the SC gang at the KTM rally last month. Man did we have fun at the event!
Mxbundy couldn't tolerate the unsightly, ragged and bandaid repaired stock seat on Bertha and convinced me to upgrade. I didn't have much room to argue the benefits of my OE plank against the SC flattop shape and gripper cover...

So needless to say, I am waiting for my SM's seat to return from SC. Mxbundy called yesterday to say it was on the way! I am pretty excited, since I have never had the benefit of a proper seat for my dirt traveler. I added the upgraded suede cover since I am an oiled leather guy and like the waterproofing that maintained leather offers.

Where is that damn BBT already??(bigbrowntruck)
The weather is turning sunny again and Bertha has an appetite for damp dirt:freaky

Just picked up a 2010 WR250R with a Rick Mayer seat on it. The guy that had the bike was tall (6' 2") and the seat is +2" over stock height and way to slick of material for my taste. I'm going to sell it - don't want to mess with getting it fit to me. Wanting to get the complete seat from you for the WR but wondering if you still have a discount going for ADV members? If I've missed the listing of the code somewhere, my apologizes, but I thought there was one available to us. I do have one of your seats on my DRZ and it really made a difference. Thinking about upgrading to the 2nd gen on that one also.

Okay, now its been done... That new seat is sooo nice, I am gonna have to finally wash the bike!:clap
I only got a short ride in on it, but so far, and there is a HIGE difference in comfort and fit, compared to stock. Love it guys! Thanks for reminding me to brush out the suede, after I oil it. I'll post a pic of her in her element, when I get another run out to the desert.

I think I'll give SC a call also. Have the setup on both my CRF250L and wife's CRF230L. About 250 mile so far and both thinking we would like softer. My old back doesn't need the firm(er) ride.

MXBundy! Do you have more pics of the KTM 950 Low Comfort 2 Up seat?
How does it compare to your regular low seat? I'm looking for a bit more long-distance comfort than the low seat offers.
