Portland. He's the guy who brought the whole Hippie, Vegan, Hipster vibe there.

Thanks, I knew he started in the PNW before he brought his broken foot to Boston.

Typical Seattle. Let the team that was making a run towards a title skip town and then bring in the helpless Kings.

Speaking of the Supersonics, how can 'The Human Eraser' Marvin Webster not be mentioned?

Sacramento city council just voted 7-2 in favor of spending $250 million
to help build a new $450 million dollar stadium downtown.

They might be able to save the kings. Still a way to go though.

Yep. It's hard to be the the THIRD team in line wanting new digs. #1 Safeco Field and #2 Century Link Stadium were kind of shoved down everyones throat as it was.... Note that the City of Seattle is still paying for the renovations / upgrades done to Key Arena (former Sonics home) in the mid 90's to bring it up to their spec then. Unfortunately, the shelf life for these facilities seems to be about 10 years before they need more skyboxes / next big thing, blah, blah, blah.

For the Seahawks, Paul Allen could have built his own place lock stock and barrel for cash....
