I'll be going on Sunday rain or shine. Riding from Arlington. Been to the last 2 shows and had a great time. Taking a day off for it.:nod

Thinking about going to this, I've meant to in past years but found out about it the weekend after or just spaced it off. Is there any reason you'd want to go on one day instead of another?

I'd say it would depend on the seminars and if you care to attend any. I'm a bit on the fence now about going. I think I'll wait and let the weather and my state of mind at the time dictate it. The Euro show sounds nice. The Vancouver one too, but I don't have a passport and don't see having one before then, so that's out for me.

I just booked a room at the Marriott up in Lake Union for Friday night (got a deal using my rewards number). Figure I'll ride up Friday morning, relax for a bit, then go hit the show when it opens. Who all will be there on Friday? Maybe we can all hook up for dinner or something.

BTW.. will there be demo rides? The Long Beach show has always had them from various manufacturers, but you had to get there damn early to sign up for them... I was never there early enough.

I don't recall Seattle ever having demo rides. I think the chance of snow and ice keeps them from trying to offer the rides.

Has anyone found a seminar schedule? I looked on the website the other day but I couldn't find it?

BMW is supposed to be fully represented at all shows this year. I'm hoping this is the year things start getting better, or I might stop going. Definitely riding if it's not icy or snowing.

I checked the vendor list and I saw all the major brands... the big four Japanese bikes, BMW, Triumph, KTM, Ducati, and so on. I saw some photos from the Long Beach show on Twitter and it looks like Zero might be there too. That'd be neat to see in person.

Thanks for the code. I bought 3 tix and saved enough cash for a frosty beverage.

I'll be checking out the show for sure. Yes, it has been much reduced since the heady days before 2008, but there's a 'quaintnence' to it now that it's back at the convention centre. Plus, my other passion besides motorcycles is the persuit of the best beers,,,,and the Tap Room is a quick walk around the corner, and happy hr starts early there.
Wonder if Skagit Motorcycles in Burlington has reduced price tickets?

Regarding the comments of the Vancouver Show, expect a slightly reduced size this year. The fiasco of the collapsed tent onto displays will mean the elimination of that extended area. Also, the show is being promoted by separate entities now, slightly different format.

    Hi Inmates,

I will be working the Racetech booth so if you want to stop in and take a look at some of our suspension components and check out the show specials I would be more then happy to help you out. If you just want to chat about suspension not a problem either.

Triumph is back. All the majors will be there. Seems like things are headed in the right direction. (I hope Ducati girls will be there serving espresso - almost made me buy a bike once. :evil)
