For playing clean football? Zero.
Thats not what Bill said.
A respected NFL writer said that Belichick's attack on Welker was clearly a personal thing. He said New England's offense has perfected the pick/rub route. It's funny that Welker got under his skin that much. I wonder how he did it?
I know. I'd love to hear the whole story between those two.
Yeah we heard about that post game.My seats are across the aisle from that ramp side seats. None of us knew the extent of the injury or saw it from where we sat and to see this unsportsmanlike behaviour from some people (not fans) attending the game is extremely disappointing .
You get used to seeing the Police hustling down to watch the opposing team's entrances and exits to prevent and manage this nonsense but who would have thought that some ass hats would throw popcorn on an injured player.
Normally you get to see some silly signs and some good natured heckling but during the playoffs many regular season ticket holders sell their seats to "fans" and the stadium dynamics change. The 2 seats behind me were sold by the regular ticket holder and it is hard for many season ticket holders to give up the money.
I had beer spilled on me by the two drunks sitting behind me who paid $1,000 /seat to attend. Stupid money changes playoff crowd dynamics. Security handled it well and the guys behind me got their warning and stayed with better manners
I turned down an unsolicited 6k for my 4 seats. It was a great game and my clients have a great sports memory and we got our pictures then with the Sea Gals
Yeah, the asshats that threw the popcorn need a beating (at least it was only popcorn if there was anything positive about it), but I dont think anybodys condoning that behavior. At least they didnt heave batteries at him like Pittsburgh fans would have.
I cant help it. They just keep coming.
What would really be funny is taking your kid to Carlsbad and actually seeing that displayed.
I'd give it an A for a grade, but Shermans using the wrong hand. He batted the pass down with his left.
