Wow, just started this and I'm hooked already!!!!
thanks for the incredible ride report. As I sat here reading it, I felt a little twinge of regret that I will never be young enough again to do something like that. It has been fantastic meeting you and Mary.
I've read many a RR and have never felt so involved, like I was there with you. Loved it Man, you've given me the desire and courage to ride a little farther south next trip!!!!
Thx for taking us all along on your journey, meeting up with you and Mary has been the highlight of my "Group of Fools Mexico Adventure 2012" so far.
hi spence i cant beleave i had been traveling with you and i have only just seen this thread
Fantastic report, I'll probably never get to do a trip like this, but you made it feel like I was along for the ride.
Let me know when you're back in Mexico again. I might need your help drinking some beer.
Spencer, thanks so much for this report - it truly was a great read with some awesome pics. Be interested to know what you are up to now.
Great read, great pics, great trip.
Cool ride report, but I didn't see the pictures of the Yamaha broke down.
Not sure which Yamaha you are talking about, but if it is mine, it is broken down in most pictures I have of it!
Wow man, just found this and have been looking through the photos, CRAZY! You seem to have an eye for a great shot and I thought I wanted to go to South America before. After looking at these pics I MUST make the trek sometime SOON! FANTASTIC!
Thought I'd bump this to say I'VE JUST MET THIS GUY IN GERMANY. No closer to understanding him, unfortunately. The bike now has a diesel engine grafted to the BMW engine casing and gearbox. He claims 1.5l/100km - giving him a 2000km range! Was he wearing shoes when you met him?

Hola Amigo Hope all is well!
HOly crap Igor!!!! Did you take any pics??
Oh wow, please tell me you have photos. I believe he had footwear when I saw him.
Indeed it is. I see your trip is winding down and just wanted to say thanks for keeping us entertained for so long. Seems like ages since you and sam rolled through manzanillo. We moved back home to the NW, so stop in and visit whenever you're on your way through.
