    1 month off.

    Portugal to Turkey

Plan is to rent a bike.

I've got all the riding gear.

My buddy is shipping his MS1200 Pikes Peak over. Yeah, he's monetarily endowed so this may be an easier trip for him.

I'm thinking $10 large for the trip. That's everything included.

If it can be done cheaper let me know.

    Who's done this?

    Resources?

Okay; big trip but then we Europeans think 500 miles is a long way in the same way as you Mericuns think 500 years is a long time. :lol3

Looks doable. Cost I guess depends mostly on accommodation choice and your route; via Italy meaning ferries, via Romania/Bulgaria meaning slow going but great roads or via the Balkans meaning insurance cost.

What sort of riding do you want to do? Backroads all the way? Autoroute between the good stuff? Autoroute all the way?
