    We just lost a friend...
A very close friend, a real Rally Rider, a big man...
He was -he IS- a part of Serres Raly Raid...

It was a road accident, riding his Vespa, in Athens, without his responsibility...
An old woman with her car didn't see him...

    R.I.P. Angelo -Brodovitch- Pandelidis...

    We 'll miss you...

I am gutted... honestly I cannot beleive it ...

I met Angelo here actually... We used to pm each other about Navigation towers and the lot. Until we met in person and I put a face into his nickname.
I will always remember Angelo as a person with a great smile, every single time of the day. He used to tell me stories about Albania and Serres and I used to joke about his height and how he looked like a coackroach on the bike.
He was damn good with Navigation and I was always excited to discuss matters with him. How to mark the roadbook, how to correct the IMO's, how to correct while riding... He always wanted to share his knowledge about everything.

I really hope his family and very close people find the strength to cope with this.

This is a very weird and strange world, sometimes I wish I could go back in time... ... :cry

    RIP Brodo

Angelo selfishly volunteered to do the design and the layout for the Dakar book I wrote. Thousands of emails back and forth....this news is shocking for me.......

My thoughts and prayers go to your family and friends

    RIP my friend

My eye always sees the avatars before it reads any text, and there are a few that spike my excitement, because I know I'll enjoy whatever they have to say. Angelo was one of those people for me.

I do not know what to say. Met him during the Hellas rally. Hard to know the face of someone who passed away.

We were joking only a day ago about meeting in Serres. He was so open, helpful and amusing. One of the great friends I've made rallying. So sad.

    RIP Angelo

    God no.
Angelo was a big part of ADV's rally family. I never met him in person, but like many other others, I enjoyed connecting with him in the discussion here or via PM.
From the little glimpses I got, Angelo wasn't just a fellow rider, he was a thoughtful and intelligent person with many different fields of interest and expertise.

I always wanted to meet him.

    Godspeed, Brodo.

    Really impressive!!

SS4 looks like it has been a tricky navigation stage, a fair few people losing time.

Whats the story on Romano Caviglia? 6th overall on a DRZ!

A few days ago I was tempted to write... "take a look at that yellow submarine":D Romano is very good in navigation and is probably the fastest drz-rider in the world at the moment :lol3

Seriously, he won the Italian Motorally Championship, Marathon class, in 2011 and the same year arrived 13th overall at the Sardegna Rally Race, always with his DRZ:wink:

as you see he's still using a pretty standard DRZ
