Time for another bout of wrenching and swearing and pointing and laughing.

Planning on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Any time after 9am.

All bikes and riders welcome. Many come just to hang out. If you are just coming for the entertainment, bring some beverages and snacks maybe (but not necessary).

I'm in. I want to check my valves and I have an EM doohicky for whoever needs one. I'm hoping to watch and learn about a thermobob if anyone is doing one.
If anyone is driving there from Denver metro I can get my lift to them this week if they have room and it could be of use.

For those of you who are offering to bring lifts, one or two might be helpful. I have one cheap HF lift and a wooden stand. Gotta get a lift table at some point...

I'm in California right now helping out the family of a close friend and mentor who passed away on Sunday. I expect to be home on Friday.

    Snowmobilers allowed? :ear :evil

Do you have a solvent tank?
If I get parts in by saturday I'll be putting a front bumper on the sled and cleaning exhaust valves. Solvent tank would make the EV scrubbing process a lot easier.

Hanging down here at Palmer Station, Antarctica. Missed the whole Colorado summer. But, my bank account is better off, and I will be in Chile in two weeks.

I keep meaning to hit one of these tech days in Colorado, and keep missing them. My KLR needs a bunch of small things. Swingarm bearing lube? Uh, oh, never done that in 16,000 miles. :eek1 However, my KLR is in a crate in the port of Long Beach, awaiting a ship to come take it away (next week!).

Have fun. Some day I'll meet you CO KLRistas.

Hope I wasn't too early, I wasn't the first guy there!

Had a great time, think I figured out what the issue was, I needed to drill out those factory threads and re tap them to an M8.

End of the day I figured screw it and bought another set of bars. I'll have a set of Pro Taper SE's available as I currently have two sets right now...

Laurie and Marty. Thanks again for hosting another nice day. Sorry I had to leave a little earlier than I wanted to. My son wanted to get home. I think he learned and had some fun with the older group.

Hope everyone made it home safe with all the hail showers etc.

Looking forward to the next one.

Well I made an honest attempt to get there however the gods were against me. First I couldn't get the day off. I get off work at 1300 so I figure I could be there by 1330 or so. At 1100 I get involved in an assault case where a guy had part of his ear cut off. Then two hrs. of evidence ,pictures, reports blah blah, etc. When I leave at 1430 the rain ,hail, lightening was so bad I hung out for about 45 minutes at Hess and Parker under the awning of a vacant building. (same storm Blakebird mentioned). I finally got home a little after four, soaked and shivering as (59 degrees) my waterproof gear wasn't waterproof. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ugh, the curse continues! Tried to mount up my new rear top rack just now only to realize that my tool tube is blocking one of the rack mounting arms from fitting. :puke1

WTF! Hopefully this doesn't happen with my side pannier mounts. If so, I'll have to lose the tool tube.
