Aiming for September 9, 2017, for the next Colorado KLR650 TechDay at my place. Details on SgtMarty dot com.

I'll update the "who's bringing what" list on that site as well, so let me know if you're bringing food, drink, parts, etc.

Sorry you won't be here, Graham. For everyone else, this is the week-and-a-day notice for the next tech day at my place.

SgtMarty dot com has the details and a list of what we're hoping people will bring to share.

I have a valve check/adjustment, a new air filter, and a simple oil change! Will shims be available for use on the valves?

I have a supply of shims, although I'm running short on a few sizes. I'll swap my shims for yours if any need changing. (That's why I have a LOT of 255s.) Bring your oil with you. Dump your hot oil as soon as you get here if you're riding it down. It'll need to cool down for a while before any work gets done on it.

Just got back in town and saw that I'm around for a tech day! It's been a couple of years since my last one. I need to do a valve check and it's more fun with friends. I'm sure there will be a supply of beers in the van. I have a lot left over from the I.O.W.A rally that need to be shared.

I'm in and once I get a bit more sorted I'll see what I can do about bringing some snacks.

Sounds good, Outjustout. Someone else is bringing breakfast burritos. If your van also has a big bag of ice as well, that would be great.

Hey Marty, do you already have someone bringing breakfast burritos? I was planning on bringing some also.

Thanks guys. One person has already offered breakfast burritos, but more will be okay--they make decent snacks during the day. We'll put pizza in the oven if needed.

    Quick note -

Anyone who's come to one of our tech days in the past knows to watch out for deer. This time, you might also need to watch out for bicyclists. The American Diabetes Tour De Cure ride is this Saturday, and the roads around here are part of the 100 mile and 100K routes. No idea how much activity there might be, but I figured I'd mention it.

Got a couple doohickey jobs going on today, plus at least one valve check, oil change, brakes getting bled, tire change, and maybe a wheel rebuild.

I'm about to head your way...anything that I can bring food/beverage/tool/supplies? I have a pack of valve shims that I will bring in case you don't have the appropriate sizes for the guy doing a valve check.
