Can anybody give me some legal green lane tracks/trails in the form of gpx files so I can upload them to my garmin edge? I live in Rotherham and looking for such trails around me, I'm sure there's some out there ???

    Many Thanks in advance.

No worries, I've mapped them out using OS maps and my garmin topo maps.

    Hi there.

Yes I can share the files. Send me your e-mail and I'll send them over.

I have created some routes and some tracks using garmin mapsource and also the start and end of BOAT's or accessible tracks I have used waypoints aswell.

Ooh! Can I have a slice of this one too :D.

I've got plenty of routes stored in my head but only recently got into the GPS game and keen to see what it can do.

A bit late to pick this thread up, but i have a number of tracks gps'd. The lancs ones cover from Clitheroe up to around Hawes - the area i lived in until recently, and the peak district ones starting around Macclesfield over to but not quite sheffield. Every so often i have a session with trailwise.org (via the TRF) marking up maps and creating gps points, then i go and see if i can find them. Not all are open to motorised vehicles, so i need to tidy up my list to whats usable, found most of Cheshire west is now 'restricted byways' since i last lived there 13 years ago - including the lane i lived on at the time.

I map them using Garmin basecamp, and run them on a Garmin etrex, with GB os map software as my base map, but the points would still be valid on top of any i map (i presume)

Anyway if any one wants my info as a start point let me know

    Will
