Happy Birthday! I'm 63 this year. I had to sit out local enduro today, because I got my hip injected Friday. Ironically I shod the horse that morning before going to the hospital, that put my hip out last September....

After the initial pain and pressure of the injection, the hip is better and I rode over at the Tryals Shop Saturday evening ride and putted around home today. Just not up to 110 ground miles of slick roots and rocks!

Another thread sidetracked, but it's interesting.

We do what we can, and some of keep doing youthful things as long as possible.

Helpful to me the last quarter century has been developing an increasingly sensitive set of 'time of day, warmed up or not, force transducer governors.' Simply, Not pushing the body until you know it can handle it. I have to descend the stairs in the morning very slowly and carefully, for example.

Unfortunately I now have runs of days when I'm governed down, way down.

Back on track... My '17 Scorpa only has stickers on the forks for bumpers and they contact the frame where there is a graphics sticker.
