Something could be arranged to run both wheels, however, this swing arm was widened to give room for the larger cast wheel.
Hello, I am the proud owner of this beautiful trailer. I haven't put the tralier together just yet, and would like to know why you believe the wheel is on backwards? Are mini bike drive chain on the right and not the left like on motorcycles? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Congratulations, I'm sure you will love it. Functionally, it doesn't really matter. Aerodynamically, there may be a minuscule difference. If you think of the spokes as having a leading and trailing edge as they rotate through the air, you want the longest taper on the trailing edge. You can see that where the spokes meet the rim. The biggest reason is so that dicks like me don't point it out. Ducati and others have used wheels with similar shapes, rotating the other direction:
Hello Joel, lQQks like I will need to sand the face completely off and pry the hitch over my rear axle bolt. Currently its a tight fit without the nylon washer.
Waz up inmates, I just wanted to share few photos for the Kawasaki Concours owners out there that may be interested in purchasing a kipmoto trailer. I haven't test ridden the trailer yet, but there are plenty of positive reviews and videos demonstrating the abuse it can handle. Also, the hitch will make some minimal contact with the muffler when moved upwards. However, there's nothing to worry about other than a small area of paint on the inside of the muffler being rubbed off. Enjoy
Houston, we may have a problem. I was reviewing my photos and noticed the skewer is inline with the underside of the muffler. I didn't take in account prior to posting the photos there are two moving parts (trailer hitch and swing arm). With the suspension compressed the skewer handle will surely interfere with the suspension. Anywho, I contacted Joel (Kipmoto) about the issue, and I was blown away when he replied the skewer will be relocated to the driveshaft side and the exhaust side tabs flipped for full clearance "AND" the new hitch will be mailed out by the end of the week. Kipmoto= Great customer service!!!!!!!!
Had my SherpaX for a while and looking forward to my trip to Alaska this summer with it. Matching Roto-Pax on the other side and installing LED brake/run strip on the rear for additional visibility.
Nice floor, thanks for sharing the photo.. Please post your updated photos of your brake/run strips install.
New hitch sent out today.... We have worked everyday this month to get our “mid April shipments” out and happy to report most have shipped. Just waiting on a few small parts for a couple orders. Those are only holding up a couple and that should all be taken care of by the weeks end.
I got a message that my Trailer should be shipping out... I am psyched. I have three, 4+ days trips scheduled this summer (one is 8+) - throughout Colorado, NM and Utah. Can't wait to post Pics.
