We have managed to find a company that will ship our bikes from Malaysia / Kuala Lumpur to Mongolia / Ulaanbaatar in a container.
Due to the recently imposed "Adventure Tax" (guide and permit) in Thailand we have decided to skip this country completely and ship straight to Mongolia to do the Stans instead of India, Pakistan, Iran etc.
We are intending to ship within the next 2 weeks and have space for four more bikes in the container. Prices will be less than 1000$ per bike (the more the cheaper) and transit time will be around 20-25 days. We are planning to get to UB by the end of June.

If anyone is interested, get in touch.

    Cheers

Just out of interest, do you have any more info about this Thai "Adventure Tax", sounds a bit worrying? I once took my bike there and it was a breeze, but this was 9 years ago..
