I've been looking about for information on shipping a bike from Australia to Asia and most say ship to Singapore. This is fine by me i'm looking at a big ride so starting point in Asia is to critical.
The only thing is no-one seems to be giving any prices etc. (maybe have looked at the wrong threads)
So was wandering if people would be able to post information on shipping they have done or got quotes on in the last couple of years. This would probable be handy for more than just me who is mainly interested in Australia to Asia, Russia to Alaska and USA to New Zealand (If the bike Lives that long)
Also because of the different waits and sizes of bike it would be good if you put the bike you shipped on (a Goldwing probable cost more than a Vespa)
    Enjoy your rides
    I DO :D

Read that 500 from Darwin to Dili in timor is about right... Seems that Perkins have been doing this for bikers for years and years so should be fairly straightforward... Will be mailing them this week to check on what's involved and prices ... Will post back...
