That is our trusty 1966 IH 1 ton Crew Cab short bed with a 304 and 2 barrel carb. I never heard it referred to as as a Travelette Campermobile, but it might have been. It was a great truck! I bought it from my dad in HS to carry all my friends and beer kegs around the mountains and desert. It was stolen out of my front yard when I was away on a motorcycle ride. I sure miss the truck, but not filling it with gas.

Those are ``lineman`s boots`` for climbing telephone poles and trees. We all had them and they lasted for years. My sister used to wear her`s to school with her frilly dress and cut-offs underneath. Not sure who made them, but there were similar to Whites.

I saw this thread a few months back and wondered if we had any old pics of the first motorcycle I rode solo. I remember my brother sitting behind me as we did laps around the buildings on the family ranch... About the 5th or 6th lap I came around the shed to see him standing there - he had just stood up and got off the bike and I hadn't even noticed.

This photo is several years before that when the bike was fairly new; it was always my brother Alan's motorcycle but, as you can see, he was good about sharing the fun. This photo was taken in 1964, and was probably an early 60's vintage Honda 50 Super Cub. Brother Alan is in front, and sister Karen is making sure I don't fall off.

I was a little surprised, when I started riding (again) a year ago, how much I love it; guess some things just don't change. :nod

Mid-way through college I got motorcycle fever so a friend and I decided to get little 80cc's to blast around the woods one summer. 1984 KD80.

The keen observer will note the vice-grip holding the brake lever together.

My first street legal bike was a neglected '78 Kz1000

Following an afternoon's work it was looking a little better

Not my first bike, that was a 50cc Honda I picked up for $60 with TWO helmets! (still have the scar on my knee from when I crashed it going too fast down a dirt road) The first real bike was this '72 R75/5 I bought in Germany in 1974. This photo was taken in Spring 1977 after many miles and a friend crashing it. Sold it a month later to fund my moving to Hawaii later that year. [IMG]

This isn't my bike, but I had the same little Honda 50R in 1985. It was cool to see one here in Guatemala.

That's my little sis goofing off on it - must show the pic to her boys...

From the way the page source looks, I would say the link you are using isn't an image file; it's an HTML file (one of the links in your original post looks like "http://....photobucket.com/.../250.jpg.html" -- the ".html" at the end is a dead giveaway). The trick I use on Picassa should work for you, too: go to your photobucket page, view the image that you want to link to, then *RIGHT* click (two-finger click on a Mac, I believe), and select "View image in a new tab". In theory :) that should open up just the JPEG in a new tab. Copy the URL from the address bar, and past that as the link address here. HTH!

This is my third bike but the first that I loved, the first two were Kawasaki enduros. Cant remember if it was an 81 or 82 CB750 Custom. Had a "no fat chicks" license plate frame. The photo was taken after a long day's ride, and just before the tequila, from San Diego to San Quintin, Baja. Ah yes the good old days. :D
