I think maybe the autistic are more in touch with things than the kids who arent burdened with it.
nothing much compared to the things on these pages, but I needed a dock for my son's xmas present and my phone.
Lego to the rescue
That and kindred spirit got me. I've been reading a lot more about autistic and downs syndrom people lately. Not on purpose but I've been running across articles. It seems the comunication is the barrier for a lot of them. There's a lot they understand and know about but can't express. But once that barrier is crossed, the river runs deep.
Sorry about Rachel.
I do a lot of charity work for a local autism foundation, and this is powerful stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Truly great! Your son is powerful.
Here is tonights dinner, 16oz. Rib eye and some grilled onions. Cooked on a rocket stove I made last week. made out of 1/4" plate 12"x18" with a 4"x6" feed. gets up to 600* real fast and hardly uses any wood.
Lightbar. Not that great looking, because I plastidipped it, but it is solid.
I'd like to make something like that for my Dad. He's been reverse-searing steaks, cooking on a Traeger and then finishing under the broiler, but I'd love to give him something that would allow him to really sear the shit outta those steaks - outside. Can you share any info? Know there's a lot more to it than you see at first glance.
Just finished this one up.
How big is that? That is really cool. I'd love to have something like that sitting on my desk
That's exactly what I made it for...really cool, one of a kind desk piece.
I love this thread......
One of these days, I'll get a camera that isn't garbage.
Lights/paint/reflectors coming soon.
Ummmm...that doesn't look too safe.
What's the weight of the ATV?
Even if the ATV/rack combo comes in under the max tongue weight, the hitch wasn't originally designed to handle weight cantilevered out like that.
Have you considered adding a castor to the rack along these lines?
It weighs less than a streetbike. Don't worry about it.
...looks safe to you?
Weight isn't the issue so much as the length that causes LEVERAGE issues.
AHAH better be carefull
It already looks bent sitting still. That quad hangs way out there.
