Not sure how I came up with this, but here you go.

    Cut a bunch of metal.

    Drill a bunch of holes.

    Bend some metal.

Tap some holes, add some bolts.

    Repeat.

Cut some pipe. Weld some cap.

Set in place, weld some more.

    Drill more holes.

    Cut more pieces.

    Bolt pieces on.

    Weld rod in.

    Test.

First batch of air engines... Mine is the one on the left, the others were built by my students (8th graders). Several more getting close, but they were dissassmbled for welding.

Very nice! It captures the essence of the bike well. Enough there to capture the personality without all the clutter more detail would impart.

Thank you. You are spot on with your comment on the detail. I try to capture the design of the bikes and want the people that see them to "fill in" the rest of the detail with their imagination. You can just see it. :thumbup

Pretty sure there were several comments along these lines for the first one (Ryder). Anyone that has kids will tell you otherwise. Sure, my part of the actual MAKING of them wasn't really "Work"....but boy howdy, it sure is work now!!! :deal

That's at least an 18 year work commitment. Good luck, and congratulations!
