Here is my pic of the same place, but a little back story. I headed to the area after doing a track day at Mid-Ohio, and I take off the license plate and bracket while running on the track, and there was a little screw up on my part. You see, I forgot to install the license plate and holder. I remembered it about an hour out, but said screw it, I would just tell the cops, “I had the plate when I left home”, which is true.
So the next morning I stop for breakfast and what pulls up, not one but two VA state police cars, the officers looked at the bike as they entered the restaurant, but luckily never looked for the plate to see where I was from. Close call one down. Ended up riding close to 2000 miles around the Smokey's with no plate on the bike

The infamous Delta Dining car (old train car) in Delta, Wisconsin. About ten miles south of Iron River, Wisconsin, there are some great ADV adventures in this territory.
It's also very near the TWAT (Trans Wisc Adventure Trail).
Always a friendly stop. I think they have 30 kinds of pie, and they have a wonderful perch sandwich.
