Wow I can't believe that more people haven't posted pics here! I'm digging up the pics of me and my dad now!
Hahaha! That's funny. Digging up pics......
The only way I could post a pic of my dad on a bike
is if I dig HIM up and sit him on the seat.
He hated bikes and wouldn't even look at mine while
he was alive.
Bummer bro, sorry about that. My dad almost lost his head with my mom when he helped me buy my first street bike! She was not happy. Then again my dad has almost died many times on a motorcycle throughout the years.
Lost the guy who bought me a bunch of bikes when I was a kid 4 years ago. I'd have to dig up a pic.
Dad and one of my brothers. Probably ~1974. Safety gear has evolved a bit.
My dad has never ridden, and has suffered for the last few years from dementia and rarely smiles anymore. We were never that close before anyway, but since his descent, talk of motorcycle travel and dogs are the two things that seem to perk him up, so I took my new CB1100 over the other night. This is a pic that I will never forget.

Wow man that is great. I'm glad you found a medium that helps bring him around. I've had relatives with dementia and that is a hard one to deal with.
Gone but not forgotten!
two of my dad, enduros, south east Ohio, early 1070s.
Dad and I around 1978 Kent coast UK
My 91 year old dad is being moved into assisted care next week due to dementia. He was always against motorcycles and fast cars throughout my life. I'll just hope my son will see this post and maybe post a few pics of me on my bikes some day. I raised my son to live life and have fun while he is here. I was 54 before I bought my first bike and I bought so I could ride with my son. I think my dad missed out on a lot of fun due to his old ways.
Dad and I took 2 of my kiddos across country last year: bikes and camping to Glacier. 4 bikes: 3 Hondas and a Harley
Dad at 75 on the 2016 911 ride
Very cool! My parents went to Sebring for their honeymoon in `58. I would have to dig a bit to find a photo of him on one of his Indians but I have loads of photos of him in an MG.
My dad comes in at 1:10. This was about 1971.
My Godfather David, Dad And Gus Eherman ran Sebring, Lime Rock & were early racers at "The Glenn" and pioneers of SCCA . Dad & David were some of the JS Inskip crew back then.
The name in the upper left Mike Eaton if you do a search for Mr. MG David Ash you will get to the MGA (white #59) that Mike & his dad have. David also built the MG MOTO on a TD chassis and ran Bonneville with the Castrol MG-EX 179 will Phil Hill There all gone now but a great era for racing cars and motorbikes!!!
