That sounds about right I was definitely on I70.
Once I stopped to take the picture (same idea Old vs New) the cows started coming toward the fence just to say hello. I guess they don't have too many visitors! Friendly cows in Kansas!!
It's part of a big, random sculpture garden on a farm in (I think) east central South Dakota - on Hwy 212, I think.
I love the storms, In Oregon we have rain and lots of it but it just rains. The thing I love about plains storms is the power and force they have. The wind, lightning, and hail. Those kind of storms get your attention.
Great thread Bill. I have lived in the great plains region for 50+ year and have very few pictures.
