I have to ride for a solid day to get to the plains.

400 miles easy to just get out of the Kalifornia morons.

This thread is killing me. Once upon a time I lived on it's edge...

Ah well it's worth the ride.

    Bruce,

Thanks for the support on the Book....The writing in the "Great Plains" Book is equivalent to the world class photography...Each of the four writers share their style in a way that complements the other..I'm confident you'll enjoy it..

One of the writers, Dan O'Brien, a writer and buffalo rancher, is the author of numerous books of fiction and nonfiction about the West. He shares perspective and stories from his Bison Ranch in South Dakota on his blog...

Funny, I have to ride half a day to get to the mountains, and off the plains.

This is the along the South Saskatchewan river valley, about 15 minutes from home.

Thats a great spot....Are you on the southside, looking north?

Looks darn close to a location we photographed in, for the Book..

It's hard to understand the power and force, unless you've actually experienced it..

Heres an example of a storm I experienced last June, while camping at a lake up in the Sandhills of Nebraska...

These clouds were definitely sharing some electrons.....
