that picture there makes me want to go walk that brushline with my shotgun and hunt up some roosters.
This is another wonderful picture that captures the raw beauty of the plains. If one looks closely at the sky, one can see the majestic hues of light purple mixed with the tones of grey. People can have their cities. This is where one can truely become aware of the power of God!
I was struck the same way, and I almost never hunt (only been a few times, several years ago). I was thinking Quail...
not enough quail left in this area to shoot. we see them rarely when we are hunting pheasant, never shoot them.
That part of south central Kansas, is really great hunting for turkey.
Anyone been here?
