Yep, but can't do it til next week. On a short family road trip at the moment.
Yes, a couple times. just remember it's it's pretty heavy when loaded with 2up & we did some great single track in N GA. The suspension does ok, turned the preload up on the rear...she ain't no lightweight....if you are an experienced rider you'll be fine. We are planning ride to CO next year & my wife wants to come along....so we will be 2 up.
A couple of shots from a forestry road overlooking Kinbasket Lake.
How's this? If you need more I'll try to take some next weekend. Riding for 3 days in the mountains & deserts of SW Utah w/ plenty of time to take pictures.
Baby got back
From the rear
From the rear, again
From the rear, again, with a pannier open
I was out last weekend testing the Tiger in the dirt at our local ORV riding area with my son on the back and didn't even notice a difference.
Just installed these panniers. A+++
Those look awesome on your bike are they the Touratech boxes? Did you install your fog lights or did the dealer do it?
Yes they are Touratech, just show up today. I installed the lights myself. Here is some advice, first it was easy and second it works best if your going to install heated grips do it all at the same time.
Taking a break after setting the 2011 Triumph Tiger 800XC land speed record at Bonneville Salt Flats.
Damn those boxes look good. I wanted Touratech's but couldn't wait for 'em as I already had a couple trips planned when I picked up my bike. Sweet ride!
How wide is this setup?
The heated grips came in today. The directions if got for the lights said i had to remove the tank. That sounds hard did you remove your tank?
I've been lurking on here for a long time, finally something I can post. I do have some upcoming trips planned now that I have a bike I can do them on. All these pictures make me hate living in the Houston area, it is such a long ride to anyplace decent (unless someone on here knows otherwise and could enlighten me).
The bike is looking great. Great backdrops...now how about turning off the date/time settings on the camera? Kind of spoils a great pic
Thanks for posting the pictures of the bike/bags from the rear, that looks like a great setup. Wow....That's a very beautiful part of the country you have in your back yard. I'd like to get out there this year, how late into the year can I ride there before the weather turns ugly?
It would be nice if someone from your neck of the woods would organize a Tiger gathering next year...
You can safely ride around Moab into October. Once November rolls around it's a crapshoot. Could be really nice or the snow could be flying. Of course, riding over the Rockies in October can get interesting.
Hmmm...a gathering of the Tigers in Moab. Not a bad idea...
Not much to say so far, it is still in the break in period.
Of the the Pyrenees next week so expect to have more to post.
Next on the wish list will be some knobbies......
outside to outside is 39" .
one 37L and one 31L
It is a great setup, and looks great to.
