Think I've watched this 10 times, awesome!
I took a little ride out to the grand canyon last month. Here a few shots along the way.
Did you just start riding? Or just joined ADV?
Have you found the bay-area offroaders - woodschick and company? PCFLY is up there too...
See you at the noobs rally. I'll be bringing my husky and not the tiger that trip.
Browneye, can you give us more details about this rally. I am in the bay area too and would love to meet the other ADV riders from the area.
I joined ADV recently, but been riding for about 10 years.
Got a pretty good crew of riding buddies but will look about for woodschick and PCFLY. :)
i was in utah for this one
What size Givi case is on the back? Is it the 33 liter?
Yep, 33L Givi Trekker on an AltRider rack.
Taking a break from getting drowned recently in France.
I picked up my bike from the dealership and decided to hit the rural roads through the Blackwater State Forest in NW Florida. I had promised that I would just stay on the pavement until I had more time on the bike and get some crash protection. The dirt and gravel roads were too much temptation. I'm planning to take this bike on the Eastern part of the Trans-America Trail in May, 2013. Currently riding a KTM 450 EXC and needed something more road worthy but better off-road than my V-Strom 1000. Not the most inspiring photo. So far, I say this bike can handle about 90% of all off-road riding that I do here in this area. The only real obstacles to worry about in this area are rain/erosion wash-outs that can be challenging for heavier bikes. This bike weights about 150lbs more than the KTM 450, but it feels good on the trail. With some different tires I think it will make a great bike for everything I ride locally in NW Florida. The power delivery is smooth and comfortable. This bike definitely gives me that dirt-bike grin that's famous with KTM riders with a lot more comfort for those longer rides and more pavement.
Congrats neighbor. I also have a T8 & 450exc.
Some pics of the tiger in morocco.
