a little fall riding in WNY
All loaded up for 4 days on the road to Potosi Missouri for the Falling Leaf BMW rally.
I had no use for the extra fuel but was just too lazy to remove the mount before leaving. My set up was so minimal that the saddle bags were thrown on at the last second and only contain some trail mix and a single change of clothes. It worked well. Eventually I'd like to be able to camp comfortably for a month using just my Pelican.
The bike now has 15,000 trouble free miles.
Sweet aux fuel location!
A little day ride to Monterey and Carmel.
How did you mount it?
Sent from my iPhone using the "hunt & peck" typing method...
A SW Motech rack which has threaded holes, used bolts straight thru the case
What size Pelican is that?
looks like mine, which is a 1550.
Okay cool, I had a 1520 on my XRL. I will have to find a 1550! Thanks guys!
I got mine shipped $125 with all the foam from amazon!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Cool ADV sticker placement!
Whats the details on your rear rack?
Post #482, you'll love it, that tail rack weights propably more than the case
Thanks! I just wish i had my actual camera instead of my iPhone 4... would have been much better quality!
Haha....That thing got propane hook-ups?!
Dont worry, I take a ton with my GS3.
haha I think i am just going to stop doing the software upgrade bc it's making my camera suck!
