This pic is a few years old. Its gonna be a while yet before I'll be able to get up there for a new one. Still snowing lots here in the mountains.
A year or two back. Mid November but it was warm(ish) when I arrived. Two days later and this had fallen overnight. Sheet ice all over the roads and about -10C. It was a long cold ride back to the UK.
Hard to believe how old these pics are already! 6 years sure went by fast!
It was a bit cold, back before I had heated gear.

I'm full-time patrol up there. As of this afternoon there was 466cm in the Peak weather plot. So, yep.
I Pro Patrolled up Grouse for 3 years before moving on to Blackcomb in 89/90. Small world. It's going off in the mountains this week. Wish I was skiing... Gonna get out next week.
