well, no, actually, CF is too brittle, and when it breaks, good luck finding a CF 'welder' or repairman in the middle of nowhere :)

Loading up the X again :happay

Heading southbound for Holland and reunion with the Sibersky Extreme team :evil

    The routing will be:

    • Ferry from Kristiansand to Hirtshals in Denmark this afternoon. Then find a nice camp and spend the night in the tent.
    • Heading for Germany tomorrow. Taking it slow. Enjoying the roads. Camping.
    • Holland the day after. Again slow and low. Try to meet up with colleges in Den Helder.
    • Meet my mate Erik at HotRod Welding :freaky
    • And finally down to Prutser and Beam(st)er :D

It will be good to be back on the road again :norton

I just wanted to chime in with the loads of other readers and say THANK YOU!

A trip like this is a distant dream, likely never to become a reality, so I appreciate all the hard work that went into posting this most fabulous RR.

    Yeah, I'm sure you won't forget :D

Cheers guys for the good time. We really enjoyed it a lot. Dianne also told me she hadn't laughed nor had such a good time since long. With all these adventurers in the house we don't have to go into the world, but it's coming to us.
Let's see if I can be part of the little ride out this summer :ricky

You make us, common mortal feel desperately "small". In recent years I made a few adventure trips, Eastern Turkey, Morocco and the Silk Road to Beijing but the pictures you are showing here are something else. I guess the true value of your adventure is to share memories and picture with the rest of us...
    Thank you and sincere congratulations
I look forward for more and the report!

The true value is to encourage other people to explore the world on a motorcycle - away from the highways, main roads and truckstops.

If I can do that, if I can encourage people to do more in Russia than the trans siberian highway, or more in Kazakhstan than the main roads to and from Almaty, then I will die a happy man.
