You see Kayak,,, I see it and wonder "Trout??" Rivers are a wonderful thing.. that valley reminds me so much of what Paradise Valley near Livingston MT probably looked like 100 years ago.

I had been using Ford Mustang fuel pumps in my BMW's (K and GS) , they work great and at US$50 only.

Wow thanks for taking me along. Hard to express my joy. Never been to the places you have shown me or the details of the country you have passed through. Probably will never have the opportunity to go there to visit. Thanks again.

In our autostore it sells like spare part for LADA 2110 or LADA 2109 (russian's cars), but it made by Toyota Corp. (and I have see the same made by BOSH), so I think this kind of pump is used in other foreign car too. This car fuel pump is little bigger then stock pump, so there is need to make some "destructive upgrade" for fuel pump housing ;] Price 30-50$. Endurance is much more then stock, I think.

We continued up the Chulyshman Valley ... looking for a campsite as the sun set.

We were kidding ourselves of course. Every spot was an awesome campsite. But we just wanted the best.

This one looked like a good spot:

but Prutser, team director of camping, said no ... lets get outta here:

So we continued on until we found this idyllic spot ...

    Yep that's the spot:

After hearing about my troubles with trees across the road on the Road of Bones with Sherri Jo back in 2010, Prutser had an idea he wanted to try ... a pocket chain link saw.

    It worked !

I went down to the river to refill my water bottles and Beamster said to me ... What are you doing? You arent going to drink that are you? Its wild? Its not clean.

I tried to explain that this wild water is a clean as it gets. Crystal clear fast flowing mountain water. Better than any tap water or bottled water.

She still wouldnt drink it :norton Oh those city folk !

Our usual easy to make, easy to clean meal of instant noodle meal deal boxes - just add water meals - did the trick for Terry and I ... Prutser is more of a camping aficionado, so cooked up a more complex meal with Beamster.

Washed down with beers (there is always room in the top of the roll bag for a few beers) which we had chilling in the cold river for 20 minutes while we built the fire

I cant even remember what shots Terry and I were doing here ... I think Beamster found a half full vodka bottle in her panniers that had been given to us in Astana. It looks from this pic like we were doing shots washed down with apple juice (Polish style) ... Good way to finish the night.
