side stand pivot

    does anyone know how to remove a 78 /7 side stand pivot

    it's missing on my 79 project and i have a 78 frame but the pivot looks like it's welded in:huh

    basically wanna know is it removable without damaging, or can i buy a new one if not

    They are still available from BMW. They are) over sizedpart number and need to be whittled down to fit. THEN welded in.
    Just get a Browns, you'll be better off in the long run.

    i'll look them up, i don't want to weld my newly painted frame, i can't have a centre stand with my twin balance headers so need something

    shoulda checked this before paint, yet another mistake:shog
