What is the satellite antenna for? Anti-aircraft?
HDTV? Homing beacon?
None of those. It's a satellite link to a huge computer. Flying the chair and countersteering (or trying not to) are such complicated maneuvers, it takes massive computing power to figure it all out and help the driver accomplish it successfully.
