In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the Beemer sleeps tonight....
Everything is working very well. I just did a fresh top end on it yesterday and the customer left this afternoon for the BMW rally in Missouri.
This is a Willis 4's conversion. 1965 BMW /2 with a 1600cc DP VW motor. Dover White, Kick Start Only. Altho new to me, I have known of the bike for some time. thought I would share.
Went for a nice backcountry ride yesterday... to the Sandilands area of south eastern Manitoba. These are believed to be the ancient seashore beaches from post glacial Lake Agassiz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Agassiz) . This picture is taken from a burnt out ridge (forest fire) and is likely pretty much the highest point in southern Manitoba, with water from the Laurentian Shield to the east, draining northwest to the Red River and Lake Winnipeg. Gorgeous view from up there looking out onto the prairies unfolding as far as the eye can see.
Awesome rig! I'm more intrigued by how you got the GG bridge to balance on that there post!
Some guys are just really talented on this site!
Is that the rim conversion you sell on there? Any issues with shaft clearance in the rear with the car tires?
NICE..........what kind of sidecar is that...........???
The wifes sidecar .
She loves her sidecar
Yep ,the dates on the photos i took are wrong
Yes it is. On this rig a used a 4" wide rim which I would not recommend on a twin shock airhead. I notched the swing arm to clear the tire. A 3.5" rim would work better.
A good looking outfit pops.
From Airtech Streamlining website ... all of these body panels are available from them.
Hello, I am Stone from the Czech Republic, and this is my project sidecar. Motorcycle, is the BMW R100GS PD-1992, and the Dnepr sidecar from about the 1970th. Much work was needed, now is a hack dismantled and taken to painting
I am not here to give the photo, it will be someone from the link?
There you go!
