So, technically speaking you're revealing that Ural isn't the only factory sidecar bike. :hide

Seriously, it'll be interesting to see how good (or not) that new CJ650 ends up. At least there will be some competition in the factory sidecar realm for those interested.

Not a sidecar, but a prettty slick piece.

Is that a custom seat or repurposed from something else? Looks great.

Thanks, Drone! It still needs a few more things. My next project is to add a brake on the car.

I found this on eBay. It is a simple marine boat seat. The original Sputnik seat was worn out. With a boat seat, I don't need to worry about getting it wet.

Thanks. I've been considering it. But it is pretty expensive... If anyone has a pair of used legs, I'd like to consider.

Maiden voyage or I should say version 2.0 maiden voyage. 20170929_155918.jpg I had this Velorex on the KLR for a spell and was never really happy with the way it handled. So took it off for a while, finally got a chance to rebuild the subframe and beef up the car frame and suspension. Through a couple sand bags on and went for a test drive, it's greatly improved! A little painting and the tub will go back on.
