    A sidecar dunes theme . . .

Nice idea that didn't work as well as it looks:

A working clutch is important! Note the two footprint tracks heading out over the dunes behind the sidecar :D

I have 4 or 5 at all times. Here's my R99S with a Jawa hack that I rode around the world with. I have another old BMW conversion rig, a 1967 R99/2 also with a Jawa hack and a few Chang Jiang BMW conversions (which I build).

    Scott,
Great pics glad to see the pics here. I still have a picture of your Dakar rig on the wall at the shop showing our little ISOK sticker you had on it. Also, if your friend in new england still needs a practice rig have him contact me.

    Jim,
Man, post some pics of your Chang rigs.

Folks, these things Jim builds are dowright beautiful and in a class by themselves. With the polished Airhead BMW engine in them that he does they do go well! Jim brought one to the ISOK Sidecar RON DEE VOO in Central Pa. last year for us to see. I am not sure how long it took him to get the drool off of it.
Note that we will have two of his Chang sidecars (sidecars only) in the shop soon. One will be mounted to my R100R(GS ?) for sure. Come visit and have a look. If it is fishing season call first and bring your gear! I WILL make time to fish in '08!! I will make time to fish in '08 ...I will make tiem to fish in '08........

That is a very nice looking rig. Did you install the lower geared final drive?

I'd reckon that most of you have seen this, but it's worth another look. Someone can confirm where it came from, I've just got a copy.

    Very nice of you, thanks.

No; it has not yet been an issue.

The SP is standard mechanically, but I have been concentrating on tailoring the "control", i.e. wider, adjustable bars, air shocks, car has electric adjustable camber. Fitted a digital instrument cluster , Tommaselli controls, a solo seat. She's a work in progress. There are a few more things on my list, and gearing may come into play a little later on...
