I just ordered some Sidi Adventure Gore-tex boots. I ordered them from www.fc-moto.de for $298.60 shipped! Now I just have to play the waiting game. Shipping estimate is 10-20 days. I'm not sure if that's calendar days or business days. It's getting cold, and I'm long overdue on a new pair of boots. The hole in the right toe of my Alpinestars is killing me on these cold mornings, and the zipper just broke on my left boot this morning.

Can't wait to get them in!

How are the Adventure boots for daily riding and walking? I am looking at something that I can use for off-road dirt riding(not hardcore MX riding), and long distance touring, but also for daily rides to work and around town....The Canyon's seem to be more comfortable, but I think the Adventure has much more protection... Opinions?

Here are mine, Chargers on the left and the ones on the right I can't remember their name.
The only problems with the right hand ones are, one of the toe patches lost most of it's stitching so I removed it, and both the weather flaps (behind the lacing has degraded; which leads me to a question can these flaps be replaced? as they are still in great condition otherwise.

FYI Mine took a week to get from Germany to US and a week to get through customs and to my door.

I ordered the boots 10 days ago. My order is still listed as 'In process' and my card still hasn't been charged. I've heard mixed reviews about their service and how long they take, so I kind of expected this... But I was hoping maybe I'd get lucky with it! For over $200 cheaper than I could find them anywhere in the US though, I guess I really can't complain too much yet.

I have Sidi sized feet :evil:D

I have the "Aerostich" Sidi Combat Touring Boot - love them. Also had Sidi Way Rain boots before, but finally wore the waterproof liner out and they started leaking.

    Love me some Sidi!

SIDI Adventure Gor-Tex. Superb quality, noisy, and hot in the summer. $500 from Revzilla. Rode through a monsoon and no leaks. Able to be re-soled. Should last about 824 years.

I have SIDI Canyon boots. I've worn them for three years worth of hard riding in all seasons here in the Pacific Northwet. They have never leaked, keep my feet warm in the winter with a pair of wool socks and aren't to hot in the summer. They've been resoled once. I like them because they look like a basic boot and are reasonable for hikes.

The next day after I replied to you the boots shipped. I kept checking the status of the order and it always said it was waiting to be transported to the destination country (and still says this). Well, I went to let my dog out about five minutes ago and noticed a dented beat-to-hell package on my porch from Germany (not that it mattered, since they were riding boots)! I was a bit nervous about the size of the boot. I've always worn a 45/11... But I had never tried on Sidis before... Fortunately for me they fit like a glove!

My dog must have been feeling photographic... Because he would not stop following my camera's aim around!

Sidi Adventure Gore-tex boots. Online from Germany...to my door for 300$. Squeaky? YES. Should be last boot I'll ever need to own. Build quality is outstanding and yes they are waterproof. Monsoon like rainstorm in Arizona proved it. Those desert rain storms freak me out. I am now schooled on flash floods and that brown hwy is not good.

Some mink oil wiped into the crevices has made my squeaky adventure gore-texes completely silent for a month now. Even if they start squeaking tomorrow, I'm fine with spending a couple minutes once a month putting on mink oil.

I've been wearing the Traffic Rain Boots for about 7 months. They are a little hot, but I've gotten used to it. I haven't had a leak in several rain/wet conditions. I usually wear a 11 EEEE and they were too small, I went up to a 11 1/2 and they are better, but still tight. I would love if they made an Extra Wide boot, but I have issues finding boots that fit right anyway.

i've had my Sidi Crossfire SRS boots for 2 1/2 years and can't be happier!:clap

i've hit my feet on rocks, bottomed out on jumps where my boots smacked the side of the trail, and i've bailed and had my bike land on my ankle and i can at least walk away. my ankle was sore but no brake.

i just replaced the soles, which was easy, but when ordering replacement screws, they only come with 10 in a pack, where as each sole needs 17. of course there are some that you can re-use, but if you have sharp off-road foot pegs, the screws in the middle are destroyed. (i have Pro Moto Billet pegs, they tear up soles of boots).

just a heads up to order 2 or 3 packs of screws when you replace your soles.

seriously though, best moto boot ever!!!

I just got a SIDI Charger boots for Christmas :D (from me to me:rofl), build quality is excellent. Those are my first MX boots, before I had a lether touring boots. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet as we have winter here.

One more thing, anyone uses Thor FORCE KNEE GUARDs with these boots? Do they go in the boot or are they to thick?

    Cheers!
