It's what 375? That's not too bad for a gun with 2 magazines, especially when it is a nice one beyond CCW. There are no laws being talked about which would take it off the market so just wait a bit for this craze to fade away and pick one up in a few months.

Nice thread-shit. Brave of you to find a ten post n00b to pick on, too. What a hero.

    :rolleyes

Is there some form we should fill out and send you, to make sure you approve of all topics from now on?

OP, I suggest you shoot them both. I can say that the LC9's trigger pull is kind of long and takes some getting used to, enough so that for a while I was not having much fun with it. However, it has performed flawlessly and I'm starting to enjoy it.

I knew this was the place to start this. Good info.

Nikon....the Shield might be a better way vs. the Ruger. That trigger and having to have the mag in to operate aren't favorites. Thanks for the video.

KingRat....where do I start? I have mislabeled you and I will put back the VooDoo doll I had picked for you. All the help is soooo appreciated that you are my new hero. Underneath that crusty exterior is something special. And along with you being a gun lover you play the GUITAR.

Don't worry bout the comments. I've had Elementary teachers tougher than that:lol3

And to the others who have chimed in "Thanks"

Later.... and by all means carry on

These gun threads are shit. They really are. The same crap time and time again - haven't you boring guntards got anything else to talk about other than fantasising about packing heat and heroically shooting a junkie?

I say again ... boring boring boring.

Last time I bought a gun, I went to a shooting shop with a range and tried them.

I'm sure asking a load of armchair motorcyclists will achieve the same thing. :csm

Guy asked a simple, straightforward question in the correct forum. I'm sure he will find one of the full-time megathreads and use it from now on, but he was not out of line.

And your opinion ain't worth a shit, so keep it.

I wasn't looking for advice on sigs when I clicked on this thread. Instead, the thread title interested me, so I decided to click it and see what it was about. That was when I discovered you sniveling like the Limey cunt we've all come to know you as.

Conversely, when I'm not interested in the subject matter of a thread I simply don't click on it. You should try it some time.

    Idiot.

What's so hard about just ignoring the threads you don't have any interest in? Then again, I'm sure your post count wouldn't be 23,740 if you just did that. When do you have time to ride? You've got six posts in this one, and I'm sure more to follow...

I think msrp is around $449. I haven't looked on GB lately but it seems like they were $500+. I can wait, I'm not in a pinch for a gun, I could use another safe for what I already have. :evil

So don't read them. I have posted several firearms related topics in shiny things. Is that not the place to post them? Don't like it? don't read it. Thanks to the op, because I bought a Sig 938, and like to hear opinions about it

I added one of those little 9's as my EDC. I was looking for something just a bit smaller than my S&W38. Love it. Night sights rock - still not as fun as just pointing the laser but more accurate. Tucks nice and neat front or back.

I added the extended mag but don't carry with. I like the piece cause it's small and want to keep it that way. The extra shot is nice at the range and the pinkie support makes it feel larger than it is but still shoot like a little 9 - minimal kick.

The Sig 938 is an excellent choice, as is the LC9. The sig carries cocked and locked so do not carry it without a holster.

Oh, and Rat, why dont you go troll an oil thread and stay out of this discussion if it bothers you so much.

Great minds think alike! What S&W is yours? Mine is a 642. Added the Crimson Trace to both guns.[IMG]

you could always take it to the range and, you know, formulate your own opinion.

    Imagine that. :poser

One of my friends shot a P938 a few days ago, after shooting my P238 quite a bit a couple of days earlier. He was surprised at how much snappier the recoil was on the P938, and had a few rounds that either failed to load or eject. The gun was a range rental, so it could have just been very dirty. The P938 only a millimeter or so thicker than the P238, and the barrel is around a half-inch longer, so if you can easily CCW the P238 then you can do the P938. I really like shooting the .380 round in the P238, which is extremely soft-shooting for a subcompact, and I'm more accurate in rapid fire drills with that than I am with an XD9SC or G26, neither of which was much fun to shoot. My friend is leaning toward the P238, mostly because he just enjoyed shooting it more, and found he was more accurate with it.

642 as well but mine came with the CT from the factory. Looks like a slight difference in grip - mine is completely enclosed in rubber. Yours is a more traditional 2 piece. Or S&W grip with a CT laser built in as apposed to just a CT grip.
    Pardon the hijack. :1drink

Thanks again to all that have responded with their experiences. The CT is a very nice add.
