Sign says "Road Closed Ahead", go or no?

    Oh ye of little faith in humankind. Not everybody is an idiot. We're all too quick to assume that anybody other than ourselves is completely stupid and unable to take care of themselves, and therefore MUST be protected by "the man." Sorry, I don't buy into that crap.

    Ok... I'll admit it...

    I've passed through barricades... I've ridden on closed roads.

    Now, for the big admission.

    I've gone down range at Fort Hood to salvage stuff off of target tanks.

    I've also scrounged stuff off of tanks loaded on flat cars, at the railhead ready to be sent for rebuild.

    We couldn't get our requisitions filled due to budget constraints.

    We scrounged effectively...

    I feel much better, now.

    I agree. After a storm had taken out a few roads in CO and UT I ran to a sign that said the road was closed 23 miles away. When I got to the 23 mile mark they had just got donce clearing the road and I had the whole mountain to myself.
