I've got an 05' Husaberg (KTM) with the rectangular headlight. I've flipped the bulb upside down and found it focuses the beam and allows it to actually light up the road!

I now use the highbeam, and it shines on the smooth reflector (at the bottom) from a different perspective and is a huge improvement. It shines almost twice as far now. The downside is the lowbeam is worthless and shines up in the air now.

Don't have a before pic, but it was barely adequate. It certainly didn't light up the middle of the road like it does now. It left a dark spot just 30-50' in front of me.

It shines a good 150-200 feet down the road now.

Completely dark street, it looks a bit brighter than this. Cell phone pic...
