I am new to the Northern NM area, and was trying to figure out exactly where you guys are riding here.....

I know a little bit about the Jemez area on the west side of the caldera, I rode up there the end of last week, even with all of it being closed.

I looked up this Sipapu area, and found that it is part of the Santa Fe NF, which is all closed except for two small areas.

Am I looking it the wrong area?

A little more info would be greatly appreciated. :D

    Thanks,

    Thanks. :thumbup

I couldn't tell on google maps what forest it was, what I saw was SFNF.

Gotta fix the CDI in XRL, then I will have to go check it out.

Looks like an awesome area to go for a ride.

Once the dust settled, the carnage was awesome. Great b-day ride today with 8 folks. Did a little hill climb sandbagging.....

Man!! I wished we had followed you guys up the hill. We thought you might be going on a longer ride, so we took the trail heading back to the
    vehicles.

The conditions were perfect out there.

Nice meeting some of you guys. :thumb

Good meeting you guys also. Ya the trail up to La Cueva peak is just a 3/4 mile viewpoint detour from trail 8. It was pretty fun.
Give a shout if your in the area again. We go all the time.
The conditions are probably perfect now. Rained all night. :freakyAtom...

Awesome riding Sunday, although I did loose my tool kit (black fender bag about 6 X 10 somewhere between the Amole parking area and FR422). I have some video to put together and hope to have it up in a day or so.
Great meeting some northern riders and hope to ride the area again soon!

Thanks again for the great work on trail maintenance!

You mind a couple local boys joining in? B-rad and I are interested. If the group is full, no worries as we can do our normal routine up there. It has been good with these rains. Conditions are nice...:freaky
