It may not get as sleepy as a Strom but here is the place to post your sleeping Super Tenere pics.

    To kick the sidestand out...

Two Lazy Motorbike i toppled and took the missus with me :-(

Damage done, some bruises on the missus, a quite substantial dent in my ego, and a slightly bent gearlever...
    On the 660 :-)

The 1200 had only some scratches on the lifthandle...
Oh and as you can see on the 660, the engine cut out mechanism really works, it cuts out the engine when inclined over 60° so i'm told. Just turn the ingnition switch of and on,and it starts again.

Yup, it was on a slope so the little missus (5.5 foot) really dropped down hurtfully from her high horse, which she was keeping up with her right feet, it was kind of a standing still highsider :-(

She rightfully was quite angered and distressed by the terror attack of me, especcially me making a photo (could be posted in the mirror thread too...) did no good to the situation, but nice to see all the horror stories about damage to the sidepanels and fans sticking through radiators at a minor fall are way overstated...

Holy crap! Where did it fall from? Is that a track on the shelf just above it? Or is the road waaaay up the top of the pic?

Presumably the last shot is after retrieval (how the hell did you do that?). I don't see any damage, other than the pannier...

Did you jump off before the S10 started its trip down the hillside?

The road is just 2 meters above tenere, you can see the green line there. I flew/rolled all the way down (abt 7 meters). Luckily bike stuck on the rock, else... I'm still thinking of kinetic energy of 300kg flying down from 7m height...

    S10 Damage:
    Left H&B Xplorer pannier
    MRA windshield
Scratches on crashbars, left hand guard and few small on left top plastic.
    broken left footpeg

    Rider + gear damage:
    Gortex waterproofed pants got hole...
Arai helmet got few scratches, visor needs to be replaced
my left elbow upgraded with metal screw (actually I rode 700km back home before I went to do X-ray and found out that I got fracture).
$ to get the crane + tow truck

By the way, what was your opinion on the MRA windshield?

Plastic frame for headlight and screen support broken, both panniers stuffed and pannier racks bent and rim dinged by hitting a power pole sized log lying in the long grass after he missed the 90deg corner at the crest of the hill and was off camber as well, he was trying to miss a couple of bikes that had already slid into the gutter at the side of the road.
