Hey all, after many years riding, I decided to give scootering a shot, so I picked up an 06 Kymco 250 x-iting. In reading a lot of posts I notice a lot of variator, clutch, spring, and weight changes, rollers to sliders etc. The 250, according to many, is somewhat of a lump. I don't know any different as I've only spent time on old Vespas, and a new Stella. Question being, is there an improved setup over stock that can do it all? Or should I just keep ridin, and smilin, cause this sumbitch is fun.:clap

I ordered the Prima roller weight set from Environmoto. I'm not sure what size rollers you have in your bike.

My scooter should be delivered tomorrow (assuming there's not another delay), and the reason I got these before it's even here is because once I break-in my engine, I plan on tinkering with the roller weights to find what I like. I plan on using rollers until I upgrade my variator, then I'll use the rollers to find an ideal weight for that before ordering the equivalent sliders. That way I don't spend a lot testing out different slider weights. PEACE.

I believe you get better results by adding shims to the center of the 2 halfs instead of messing with the weights and rollers,,, older atv experiences
