Glad to meet you bro and I hope to ride dirt with you soon! FBV!
Nope not me. Blue/White F800GS, I live in Sparta though.
It's easier at the racetrack:
I had the "half" assembled 990adv...wanted to feel what it was like to have a SE,wanted to shoot the shit with you a bit more, next time.
always some cool bikes there
too many pirates!
Went to my first Slimy Crud with Clark yesterday. Had a great time getting back on a bike and going for a ride. Just like old times! Thanks for talking me into it Cory.
It was well worth the effort.....
Any more photos from the Crud?
Ha, I talked to the guy on the moped for a while. He rode all the way from Pine Bluff on his ~65cc moped...and back to Madison!
I only stopped by Pine Bluff for about 15 minutes.
Nice pictures guys. I always forget to take any.
Nice day for a ride, even if it started off a little chilly. Met up with some friends in Oregon for the ride over to Pine Bluff.
Crowd was really starting to fill in when we got there.
A cheeseburger and a coffee for breakfast, and we were off to Leland!
No pics from the ride to Leland. I was trying to keep my friends in view, so the scenery was appreciated, but not recorded. I was riding the ST, so I was not (ahem) at the front of the group. I was more concerned about skidding on the fresh cow-poop or mud in the corners, and dumping my pile of expensive plastic.
My fellow riders...
Now that you mention it, I still remember all the shit on the roads down there. Almost thought it would cause a lowside but none seen. My guess it was from the manure spreaders.
I have a few more pitchers....
Amazon.com was there making deliveries.... Seriously, somebody shooting video with a GoPro of riders tooling down main street. I looked briefly for the video on YouTube, but haven't found it yet.
Couple of the interesting bikes that caught my eye for one reason or another...
Cow shit on the roads is to be expected. Farming is a way of life around here, the roads are always that way.
I'll take the cow shit and dirt on the road any day over buses, taxis, and city life!
Anywhoooo...., glad you FF's enjoyed the trip, and hope to meet more of ya on the next crud run!
BTW, did any of you see the idiot riding the pedal moped down the main drag in Leland? He about got hit a time or two, and I thought the police had him, but they just wagged there fingers at him. Haa only in Leland!
October Slimey crud
Nice pic. You had a bit of a ride from Minneapolis. :) All in a day?
Yup. Full day and great roads.
Had to charge my buddies 888 along the way. Imagine that? A Ducati being charged by a Triumph.
Ha, well at least you had the gear - mini jumper cables or whatever. :)
