Just got a call from a local K.C. rider who heard about the ride and will be doing it with his son. So the current participant count now stands at an even dozen.

I still have question marks on my list next to Perfpup and Brek81, as well as one person from over at the SpyderLovers forum.

Also, Plumber Mike, are you really going to do the ride on your 250???

Well it's not 17 for me yet, but I'm gearing up for work this AM instead of leaving for KS.

Sorry guys. Self employment sometimes sucks. I'm out too.

Hi guys. I seemed to be behind the pack most of the day.

I got to the monument at 615 and nobody there. I left a note and took a few pics with the bike. I needed to get to my room in Minot so will miss the end group pic.

Thanks all for a good time.

Tan, perf and I missed the photo. Fell asleep at 9 pm. Pm me an address and I'll send you our patch money. Missed you this morn. We visited with some of the guys going on to Canada. Thanks for organizing this. It was a good rain free ride mostly!! Riggpigg

Easy, stay within 5MPH of the speed limit, take a break every 80-100 miles, and stop to enjoy all the sights!

...exactly why my wife just said "You were smart not to make this a group ride."

Perf & Riggpigg, your penance for falling asleep on duty is having to wait until I get two more patches from the embroidery shop!

We managed to skirt all of it. I've never been this fortunate!!!
Probably due to get caught in a big ole turd floater soon!! Rode all over
In the sturgis area today. Great weather and no traffic. Vanocker canyon was deserted. Prolly exceeded the speed limit there some.

I have contacted the Smith Center Chamber of Commerce and the Rugby Visitor's Bureau about supporting the Smackdab Run as an annual event.

    Two Questions:

    1) Of those who did the ride, would you say the experience was worthwhile? Can you give me a short endorsement I could quote?

    2) How many people who DIDN'T go this year would be seriously interested in giving it a go in 2016?

I didnt go, but wanted to. If vacation is taken up by higher seniority, I'll do it next year.
