not sure what the snow cover looks like now at the campground, but the cams at paradise show a fair amount of snow.

:huh "knock on wood" mebbe just a plugged breather?

Back to get the hack - the night was clear and quiet last night. :*sip*

This morning, ~0715 somebody rolled in with a trailer and off-loaded a KTM - then left. :scratch I figure, maybe had to go to work and came in with a friend? :1drink

The roads out yesterday, and back this morning were clear - possibility for frozen fog or black ice exists depending on the temperature, but it didn't present a problem either time. :norton *Grant - the road into the campground has a little ice and snow, but nuttin' serious.

OH - and DNR was there to check for Disco passes this morning, asked me to remind folks "the pass is for the vehicle, not the person" and if you're bringing a cage you need to leave it on the dash or hang it from the mirror, or you could get a ticket... :eyes:deal :rofl
Motorbikes, of course, you can just keep it in yer pocket an' have it handy if she comes back around.

Lastly, they changed out the fire ring. It is nice-n-new, but a tad smaller than what was out there before. I'ma leave the fahr-tending to you'ns... :hair

    Seeya out there!

I have to keep up on the PNW forum more often. I just committed to an MSF class for this weekend. :cry

That forecast looks downright balmy. Maybe they'll truck in some beach sand and a palm tree.

    Post pics here after?

Dang Austin, that's a bummer. We'll miss ya'.
Wayne-meister just told me his hip is causing extreme pain, and he might not make it either.:(:
I'm having trouble finding un-frozen turkeys to "dunk", but thinking maybe a huge bag of onions and a strainer for onion rings?
All these reg's and rules, thinking someone should bring a cannon and get us all banished to the next "
Mo betta'" camp site..." Just sayin'...
Anyhow, I'm packed and will be on my way shortly. Only 300 miles....

Sorry to hear Wayne's hip is still causing him grief. You don't need a cannon. Just drop one of them frozen turkeys in the fryer, It'll work the same(disclaimer...Really Bad Idea). Buy a live Turkey. Just think of all the entertainment chasing it around camp then the big payoff once cooked. Have fun, Take pictures and make me wish I was there instead of elbows deep in this pile of Honda 90's.

Got a load of wood on Thursday... did I already say that? :evil[IMG]

After cutting these ~10 foot pieces in half so they'd fit the fire ring, and hauling them out to the campsite, what do I find?
...somebody must've put the fire ring in the dryer... :lol3

Folks didn't seem to mind though. :clap :kumbaya

Turns out the KTM was the Panda's (hidden in this picture) and the bear was asleep - not working. Panda's keep weird hours. :loco
