    The 20th it is :clap.

Don't matter to me which day at this point.
The weather is what it is. Who knows if the 27th will be any better?
If'n it's shitty, I can always go to work.....
Or we can just sit in the Apple Van and drink all day:freaky

Matloik, the 20th? Looks like Mat might prefer the 27th.
    What say Matloik?

I will be in Sunriver through ... Tues, or so, of that week. So if I ski it will be at Mt B. And, not to sound like a snow snob even though I wholeheartedly art one, these days I make tentative plans to ski, with the act of shelling out $70 for a lift ticket dependent on conditions -- at least a moderate amount of fresh from the night/day before, and temps well below freezing. Yeah, I'm a snow snob. :deal That being said, I can be talked into a day of carving groomers with the less-fat skis ...

We bought XC skis last year and hit Pocket Creek and Teacup a number of times. It's been a nice (and fun) change of pace.

So I'm still taking care of the little lady, so I will not be taking this Monday off, but REALLY thinking of taking the 27th off. Anyone interested?

I also hope to be going up to Meadows this Saturday.

Ken, I'm planning on being up in Govy and boarding on the 27th. We will be in Govy the 23-27th.

I will also be heading up this Friday night and boarding Skibowl (Fusion Pass) this weekend. Should be cold and snowy and hopefully some powder for the weekend.:freaky

Sure, I'll do the 27th daytime instead, Maybe Matloik can also join us then.

I'll would also go this Saturday Night, starting at 3pm for my cheap-ass Meadows Night Pass. I won't spend the big for the Day Pass.
Drinks then, at 2PM? It'll give you a good excuse for a break after a morning of skiing. I'll be driving my portable locker room (big red Chevy Apple Van with "Apple Jam" logos on the side).

Good afternoon, skiers. Just got done with the second day up on the mountain here at Bachelor. Continued snow accummulation and temps in the 20's, what more could ya ask for. I'll be back over in Hood River mid-week, and am looking to ski Wed and/or Thurs at Meadows. The forecast looks solid.

Well, my boss is an a$$hole and won't let me have any days off this week.

Actually I have a different boss almost every day, and they're usually quite nice.
That is, they're nice if I show up at their house, and don't go skiing instead.

But this coming Monday, the 27th?
    Oh Yeah!!
    Good soft cold snow :clap

Those thinking they're missing out, don't worry! The kids just let out for school and the hills are swamped. I'm not going back till after the holidays

My knees are exploding. Had to take a few days off to recover. The skiing on Bachelor has been very good, lots of cold snow, OK visibility and no crowds - yet.

Last Weekend at Skibowl was very chill - no lines, handful of folks on the uppper bowl and very good powder on Satuday.

    Don't let the secret out:lol3

Anyone willing to deal with someone who has never skiied on the west-coast sometime between XMas and New Years?

I won't demand to ski with you if it will wreck your day - I just need some guidance on where things are, and it would be cool to do the first few runs with someone.

I fully expect I can still ski at the high-end of the intermediate level. :D

To clarify for everyone; I ski, and am not worried about handling intermediate terrain right off the bat. :D

I just expect my form to be less than stellar. :lol3
