I'm having electrical issues at the moment but I think I have it figured out.
My next mod is an aftermarket airbox and jet kit.

I need some aux LED lights, but haven't found a robust mount for a 2008 with a high fender yet. I have some ideas for my own bracket design, but my ideas need more work.

What about the Black Dog mount? Why don't you like it? (Because I'm considering it for my Rigid lights)

Adding dead dinosaurs to the fuel tank.

If I ever get around to modding the bejesus out of my 990, it'll just be SUSPENSION SUSPENSION SUSPENSION. That is all.

I mapped out a really nice plan to turn my 04 into an almost-rally-replica; lighten the front, rally pipe, move the battery...

But I decided the best thing to do is get some new tires and ride the shit out of it. So that's the new plan. I might even start before I get new tires.

Doesn't work with my high mount fender. Otherwise, I'd consider it depending on the weight of my lights. My likely custom bracket will probably be welded steel.

Had both wheels straightened, broken spokes replaced & trued. I just sealed my rear spokes today - gonna try tubeless for a while. And I got to use my little slick Kauritmoto tire mounting tool I got through PineyMountainRacing. Thanks again Craig!

As it currently stands - 03 Adv with powercells ohlins fork inserts and the matching rear end. But the next month revolves around; (+10 year anniversary)
09 SMT motor, 3.5 excel rear rim and oversized spokes, rottweiler intake and SSO headers/akro, new rear tanks, under seat 3lt+ oil tank, nav tower/dual led/hid headlight, oil cooler and an 1190 radiator, a little Powdercoat on the frame and sub.
    Should see me done!!
Oh yeah - a new seat that has NASA technology foam. Can't wait for that one!!

Just installed my Spoke Skins from spokeskins.com. Super cheap and easy to instal. I was going to powdercoat them but this was a cheaper and easier option. Held on great for my dual sport ride yesterday and didnt budge when they got hit with my pressure washer.

And im fixing/modifying my old rally raid windscreen. My handle bar went through it last april when i was rear ended in north carolina by a car full of teenage girls. After seeing Geeks and Rades designs for their rally screens i knew I wanted something that looked like what they had since theirs were so badass. So im changeing all the angles on the lip and face of the windscreen with cardboard (I know all the professional mold guys out there are cringing right now). Then fiberglassing over it all. Once I get the shape I like Ill start gel coating then paint it. Pictures will be posted. And Ill have to hit up crispy designs again for a dakar rally decal again since he did such a great job last time.

Side note. The number plate decals that he made me held on and didnt move at all during the slide. there scratched down a little bit but thats it. Quality product for sure.

I need new tires...still not sure what to get so in the mean time I am milking the last miles from the Scorps. I also need to add some more forward light...I sure like that adjustable screen/gps mount/headlight thing I have seen a few guys do write ups about.
