He's also profoundly ignorant about Chelsea. That post you praise? Utter nonsense. Totally misinformed.

    You really need to relax.

    Deep breaths. Something.

It’s called “banter”. If you can’t take it, perhaps football isn’t the game for you? Perhaps badminton is a better fit?

This isn’t the first time you’ve gotten “offended”. And it just sucks. Ruins the vibe.

Says the man whose head has exploded on me, not once but twice, in this forum over minor comments. :lol3

Post ill-informed, ignorant shit about my team as though it's fact and I'll happily shoot it down without mercy.

I can only imagine how you'd respond if he did the same with Tottenham. :evil

:rolleyes And United don't have Pogba which free's up Matic. The shit you ignore in other team's is extraordinary.

Totally agree with that though. They should have played through - it was an easy tackle. They could've prevented that goal!

:rolleyes Wrong way around. Matic frees up Pogba. That's why their attack was better before his injury. He was going forward and playing really well. Matic and Herrera was their midfield on Sunday, an all-defensive pairing. To their credit, they only conceded one goal (because that midfield let itself get spread out and Jones unwisely strayed forward to fill the gap, leaving the center of the box wide open for Morata to score.) But they also conceded a bunch of chances and singularly failed to control the game. Herrera was lucky to avoid a second booking for persistent fouling.

Peels may have a different view of the matter, though.

Not really.... I was only watching it via phone while winterizing the boat. and had tons of other stuff to do....because I had a pickup game to get to later. my first real FULL field match in YEARS. i am still alive! can barely walk though LOL

But I was unimpressed by what I saw of the match. Defensive. not surprised at all, but we had to be. Chelsea played like we did at the beginning. And.... Morata's goal, save for that complete lack of defense, was a beauty. I think We are hurting without Pogba. Alot more than I thought we would to begin with. Matic is talented, but, isn't that great on his own. Lukaku.. With no service, is useless. I want to like Hererra because of his attitude, but hes so shaky sometimes...

other teams.... Watched the Arsenal/City match, felt Gunners hard done a bit, played better than the scoreline suggests. I don't think there's anything Wenger could have done differently, except start Lacazette...but chances are, they'd have conceded MORE.... As I was explaining to my brother in law, when you're the team that's at the top of the tidal wave, like City are.... sh*t like this goes your way... foul calls, offside, balls bouncing favorably..other teams make mistakes, from over stressing... it just happens. I remember when my team was that way ROFL! Spurs, i think, a bit lucky. Only their quality saved them, they didn't play too well.... and Palace were very Un-Palacey.

Yeah, hard to see City losing it. It's insane to call it over in November, but man, it sure does feel that way. They're not just winning, they're steamrolling the league. Pep is proving he can do it. Have to respect that.

Very much like Chelsea. feel like we called it by Christmas last year. its in the attitude, not just the play. City players are happy, having fun. Much like Conte had the blues doing last year. Leicester the year before.... infectious. Only City's quality right now makes me sick! LOL

Did you see the 5 minute introduction Aguero got pre game? LOL City fans are bouncing.

I wouldnt say its OVER. but its highly unlikely to change, unless something crazy happens, injury, or transfer drama-wise.

Yes, it feels like they're riding a wave. Maybe it will break next season. But the novelty of it this season is surely keeping them engaged.

It was a real pleasure watching the Chelsea Women play in the Champions League today.

The club streams their CL matches on the club's own service, Chelsea TV. But they generously also put them on YouTube. Using a Chromecast I could throw it onto my TV. Far from HD but it was still a thrill to finally be able to see them.

Winning 3-0 over perennial quarter-finalist FC Rosenberg didn't hurt either. :lol3 USA's Crystal Dunn plays for Chelsea and she had a great game.

If La Liga uses VAR next season, as is being reported, then the Premier League will be the last holdout among Europe's top leagues.

Hahahaha, that is just amazing. So much joy to see Italy out of the WC. This looks like a year of big no-shows - Chile, USA, Netherlands and now Italy.

Yeah, they expand the field to include a lot of no-hopers, while perennial WC teams won't be there. Odd one.

To be fair, both Chile and USA are no-hopers and no great loss to the tournament.

Ireland not making it robs the event of the greatest fans in the world.

Italy didn't deserve to make it. They can't score goals. The coach is abysmal.

We are indeed wonderful, but that second line sums up our team. Didn't deserve it, can't score, horrible coach. And we have FAR less depth (obviously) than Italy. I turned the Denmark match off after their third goal, at that point I knew a hammering was coming - might even be considered a mercy killing, if that's what Denmark can do to us, I shudder to think what'd happen if we got drawn against the likes of Brazil, France, or Germany. :fpalm

Besides, fuck Russia. Can't get a proper pint there. And I hear there's bears. Didn't want to go there anyways.
