He's a hypocrite about diving. Hated when Owen did it to him in 2002, but believes it to be laudable when his players do it.

I hope they both drop two points. When two of your team's rivals play each other it is almost always better for each to earn a single point than for one to earn three points.

IE: liverpool vs Tottenham last week... However, based on where arsenal and spurs are in the table, even though both could potentially get near us.... I'm cheering for the gunners.

Well Liverpool got robbed by the referee too hard. Spurs are bunch of divers and cheaters.

I wasn't looking forward to yesterday's game, but a massive 3 points for us at home to Man Utd. Could be very important come the end of the season. And Mourinho's poor record at St. James's Park goes on, hard to believe someone who's won as much as him has never won a league game at our place.

Huge win for the Toon. I read an interesting piece about how Mourinho's respect and affection for Sir Bobby Robson (and that man's love for Newcastle United) affect him when his team plays at St. James'. Dunno if that has anything to do with his record there.

ps Good on Newcastle for keeping the apostrophe in the name of their ground. Shame on QPR for dropping their apostrophe. :lol3

feel like NewCastle has always been, IMHO, a more smash and grab team. Ive long enjoyed watching them play. And, Rafa is still one of my faves. Whereas, A Mourinho team, plays it safe, very rarely is a ball released early. it isn't fun to watch, but generally puts him at or near the top. BUT, you cannot play that way vs a sit and attack style, you have to a have a fast counter or youll never win. new Castle played their hearts out. United phoned it in, as per usual lately, we deserved to lose. Pogba rendered completely ineffective, then Mata comes in and dribbles backwards for 20 minutes.... yawn. :imaposer Martial and Sanchez played well though.

Pogba looked like he was sucking on a lemon when they showed him on the bench after he's been sub'd :imaposer

Impressive comeback by Tottenham. Juventus are in serious trouble. Hard to see either team winning the trophy after an open game like today's, though.

Well, Higuain missed the penalty. Though Tottenham did keep pressing, I never thought they were great. But true, don't see Juve winning the next one.

I watched the first half. I'm surprised that Real Madrid look so slow. No pace, no break. Sounds like PSG bottled it at the end.

Hahaha.. Very interesting match. Won easily in the end. Asensio and Marcelo were just superb!

I was only able to watch the second half.... Mr money bags Jr., Neymar had chances, but scuffed them all. Then Real buried theirs. Watching those two teams play, gave me VERY little hope my team could ever come out of CL with some silverware. completely different league, literally and figuratively LOL

Michy Batshuayi was almost an afterthought in the deal that sent Aubameyang to Arsenal and Giroud to Chelsea.

In three matches for BVB he has scored five goals, plus one assist and one secondary assist. Three wins out of three, including over Atalanta in Europa League today. Naturally, BVB fans are losing their minds.

To me, though, it speaks to loose defending and confidence.

Liverpool were brilliant at Porto. Really happy to see Mane get the hattrick, and Firmino and Milner played really well.

Hopefully can rest some players on the return leg and be ready to beat ManU the following weekend.

Unexpected experience this evening. I'm doing some fill-in writing for a Chelsea blog and I set up a Google mail alert for Chelsea news. I wrote a piece today, it went up... and tonight it showed up in my Google alert. :lol3
